Great Jeep , great machine, great SUV
I will start by saying its by second SUV and by god is this machine marvelous. the engine ,3.6l is a strong power plant that gives me a good amount of get up and go, its not a sports car, but is inspiring enough when going over 30mph to treat it a bit like one. on the highway if you give it the beans itll shift two gears down and scoot you along to 85 no problem. fuel economy i average close to 18 or 19 mpg depending on my driving style, spirited driving will yield you closer to 15 or 14 mpg since after all it is a 5000 lb Jeep. its got plenty of room inside , leg space in the rear is great. for a person that is 5'10 i have space in the back with many inches to spare with the front seat left reasonably placed. cargo room in back is more than adequate especially with fold able seats. i've owned the car for about a month , done two small road trips and shes great on the highway, the transmission is beautiful at shifting, and though it has auto stick i find that its smart enough to shift when i would want it too, so i havent touched the auto stick. its very friendly to modifications which i love. I have already begun to add things like lights and a new 10 inch screen for a stereo with android. headlights are abysmal. upgrade asap to LED. fogs do best with LED bulbs, headlights require a full replacement. the tires should be changed if you buy a sport to something more grabby if you are planning on offroading, the stock tires were traded out for some mud terrains and the gentle rumble on start up is soothing, it smooths out over 10mph. overall its a comfy ride. well built and well thought out. Jeep did a grand job with this car and i havent touched my sports car in a month, i think its time to show her some love, but its a testament to how great this vehicle drives.
